Air America Media, the liberal radio network (and, increasingly, political website) has filed for Chapter 7 and will cease broadcasting this evening. All employees have been let go.
Employees like Megan Carpentier, who is now officially looking for work. And Ana Marie Cox, who is officially confused. (And also looking for work.) The news came a surprise to, well, everyone: the company’s always had tremendous financial problems but they just recently hired a bunch of talent to relaunch the website.
